    • Have a Diploma, Degree, or equivalent in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, or related field

    • Passionate about fashion design and excited to learn across all stages of product development

    • Interest in trends, fabrics, colours, and garment construction

    • Comfortable assisting with mood boards, graphics, and design research

    • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage files, trackers, and calendars

    • Experience or interest in coordinating samples, fittings, and studio workflow

    • Confident using Excel and other basic design/admin tools for data entry and reporting

    • Collaborative team player who can support multiple areas and tasks as needed

    • Keen to develop technical skills and understanding of garment development and fit

THE ROLE

This is the entry-level role you have been waiting for!

As the Fashion Design Assistant, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with the Design & Brand Director and Product and Brand Manager and the wider design team to support the development of the brands collections from concept through to final approval. You will gain hands-on experience across concept development, garment design, fittings, tech packs, and sample management, playing an active role in bringing product stories to life and supporting the delivery of each collection.

KEY FUNCTIONS

Design, story & collaboration

  • Support seasonal research, design direction, and storytelling for each drop

  • Assist in translating concepts and narratives into garments, fabrics, trims, and finishes

  • Support the creation of prints, patterns, graphics, and artwork aligned with seasonal stories

  • Produce technical sketches, CADs, and construction callouts

  • Prepare range boards, presentation decks, colour palettes, and internal documentation

  • Maintain fabric, trim, and sample libraries

  • Support the design team during sampling, fittings, and campaign preparation as required

Garment development & technical support

  • Support protos, SMS, PPS, and final sample stages

  • Assist in fit sessions and capture clear, actionable fit notes

  • Flag potential fit, quality, or construction risks early

  • Support online product information

  • Administrative & Development Support

Administration

  • Maintain organised digital design files and development documentation.

  • Update development trackers, calendars, and internal systems.

  • Assist with sample tracking and coordination across development stages.

  • Prepare materials for meetings, fittings, and design reviews.

  • Support day-to-day studio organisation and workflow.
