  • Senior leadership experience within fashion, apparel, or luxury retail

    Proven experience managing multi-channel businesses

    Strong understanding of wholesale and DTC models

    Experience working with global supply chains

    Strong commercial and financial acumen

    Excellent operational and organisational capability

    Clear communicator with strong leadership presence

    Able to manage complexity and competing priorities

THE ROLE

The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the business, ensuring that strategy is translated into effective execution across all functions.

Reporting to the CEO, the GM oversees commercial performance, operations, and team delivery, with a focus on sustainable growth, operational excellence, and financial discipline.

 

Reporting Line

Reports to: CEO

Leads: Commercial, Operations, Production, Sales, Digital, and Support Functions (directly or via functional heads)

Business & Commercial Performance

Deliver agreed business plans and budgets in line with company strategy

Oversee P&L performance and margin delivery

Monitor sales performance across all channels and regions

Ensure pricing, discounting, and promotional activity aligns with brand and margin objectives

Financial & Operational Management

Oversee cash flow management in partnership with Finance

Ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting

Manage operational efficiency across production, logistics, and fulfilment

Identify and mitigate commercial and operational risks

Go-to-Market & Channel Management

Oversee wholesale, DTC, and marketplace channels

Support market planning, range architecture, and seasonal execution

Ensure market calendars are realistic and delivered on time

Maintain strong relationships with key commercial partners

Production & Supply Chain Oversight

Oversee production planning, costing, and delivery timelines

Ensure product is delivered on time, to quality and margin targets

Balance creative ambition with operational feasibility

Drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and develop a high-performing management team

Set clear objectives, accountability, and performance expectations

Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture

Support recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning

Strategic Execution

Translate CEO and Founder strategy into operational plans

Identify growth opportunities and operational improvements

Contribute to long-term business planning

Support international expansion and new initiatives as required
