THE ROLE
We're partnering with a leading global denim and lifestyle brand to appoint an Assistant Store Manager for their store in Canberra.

This is a hands-on leadership role supporting the Store Manager across operations, visual merchandising, styling and stock, in one of the brand's key regional locations. It's a role built around driving performance on the floor, coaching a team day-to-day, and stepping up to lead when it counts.

You'll support a multi-functional team across the store, reporting into the Store Manager. This is a role for a leader who's ready for the next step up, comfortable owning the floor, developing others, and helping build a strong culture within the store.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and develop a multi-functional team spanning operations, visual merchandising, styling and stock

  • Drive strong commercial performance, supporting consistent delivery of sales and KPI outcomes

  • Coach and develop team members through regular feedback and in-the-moment coaching

  • Assist with performance conversations and development activities when required

  • Maintain a consistent floor presence, leading from the front in styling, service and customer experience

  • Support excellence in execution across the store, from brand standards through to operational consistency

  • Assist with floor changes, sales and promotional events

  • Step up as senior leader on duty in the Store Manager's absence, making timely decisions within delegated authority
