THE ROLE
We are seeking a Design Intern to join our Burleigh Heads based Bridal Client. This role is perfect for a fashion student or emerging designer looking to gain practical design experience in bridal wear. You’ll work closely with the design team to support the day-to-day design team tasks.
This is an unpaid internship, ideal for those looking to build industry experience and enhance their portfolio. Hours are flexible and can be arranged around study or part-time work.
In this role you will:
Assist the design team with day-to-day tasks
Support the development of new collections
Help with fabric sourcing, trims, and sample organisation
Organise and prepare mood boards, sketches, and technical packs
Offer general support across fittings and production tasks
What we’re looking for:
A genuine passion for bridal and fashion design
Strong attention to detail and a creative eye
Basic technical and sewing knowledge (preferred but not essential)
Ideally studying fashion design and passionate about a long term career in the apparel design space
What you’ll gain:
