    • 2+ years experience with fashion production & working with overseas suppliers

    • 3+ years garment technician experience

    • Understand high-volume product environments

    • Have an understanding of Pattern Making

    • Will bring firm but fair negotiation skills

    • Are a relationship builder

    • High attention to detail and accuracy

    • Systems: Intermediate computer literacy. Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Adobe Suite.

THE ROLE

Join a thriving trend-forward Womenswear Label as their Garment Technician. In this role you will manage technical development of assigned styles from concept through to bulk production across all categories.

  • Create accurate tech packs including construction, fabric, and accessory details for all ranged and developed styles.

  • Send tech packs to suppliers within designated timeframes.

  • Lead daily fit sessions with Buyers and ensure fit changes are documented and clearly communicated to suppliers.

  • Assess shipment samples to ensure fit and quality meet brand standards before delivery.

  • Liaise with local and overseas suppliers to resolve fit and grading queries.

  • Review and approve bulk specs, including grading and key size measurements.

  • Follow up on any fit or quality issues with suppliers, including reviewing merchandise report feedback.

  • Maintain accurate sample management and ensure samples are correctly stored and archived.

  • Support general administrative tasks related to fit, sample, and spec management.
