2+ years experience with fashion production & working with overseas suppliers
3+ years garment technician experience
Understand high-volume product environments
Have an understanding of Pattern Making
Will bring firm but fair negotiation skills
Are a relationship builder
High attention to detail and accuracy
Systems: Intermediate computer literacy. Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Adobe Suite.

THE ROLE
Join a thriving trend-forward Womenswear Label as their Garment Technician. In this role you will manage technical development of assigned styles from concept through to bulk production across all categories.
Create accurate tech packs including construction, fabric, and accessory details for all ranged and developed styles.
Send tech packs to suppliers within designated timeframes.
Lead daily fit sessions with Buyers and ensure fit changes are documented and clearly communicated to suppliers.
Assess shipment samples to ensure fit and quality meet brand standards before delivery.
Liaise with local and overseas suppliers to resolve fit and grading queries.
Review and approve bulk specs, including grading and key size measurements.
Follow up on any fit or quality issues with suppliers, including reviewing merchandise report feedback.
Maintain accurate sample management and ensure samples are correctly stored and archived.
Support general administrative tasks related to fit, sample, and spec management.
