THE ROLE
Our luxury client is seeking an exceptional Head of Design to lead their design direction and creative evolution. This pivotal role sits at the intersection of creativity and commercial strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO and Creative Director, and collaborating across all facets of the business to shape the future of this international brand.
The Head of Design will oversee the end-to-end design process from concept through to final garment ensuring every collection embodies the modern elegance and premium quality. You’ll lead and mentor a talented design team, driving innovation, consistency, and global appeal across both Northern and Southern Hemisphere seasons, designing to numerous collections a year.
You’ll also have the opportunity to work across special projects and new brand extensions, bringing fresh energy and strategic vision to new product categories and collaborations.
Responsibilities
Lead the seasonal design direction in partnership with the Creative Director
Develop and deliver cohesive original ‘designer’ premium luxury collections aligned to both Northern and Southern Hemisphere markets
Review weekly sales analytics to guide design decisions and pivot quickly where needed
Drive fabric, trim, and colour direction each season, ensuring quality and commercial alignment
Oversee fittings, costings, and design to price-point in line with the seasonal range plan
Collaborate with internal teams on special projects, capsule collections, and brand extensions
Partner with key stakeholders across production, merchandising, and marketing to ensure seamless delivery
Lead, mentor and inspire a high-performing design team that champions creativity, collaboration, and excellence
Create custom designs and specialised gowns for celebrity clients and key brand moments
