A minimum of 3- 5 years experience in wholesale/retail apparel production offshore and locally.
Proven experience in a face paced environment.

THE ROLE
Working directly alongside the Operations Manager, you are responsible for managing the coordination of seasonal sample collections and special projects from design stage through to end production. As such, you will liaise with and manage all relevant design & production team members and suppliers on all sampling and production functions of the range.
To achieve optimal productivity of patterns, sample cutting and sample making and production of seasonal collections with optimal margin, delivered on time and to a high standard of finish.
o Manage the sample room and structure workloads, to deliver ranges on time and in strict accordance with the Critical Path.
o Ensure that the design team’s Critical Path provides scope to integrate with other key departments (production, sales and marketing) at the start of any range
timeline.
o In accordance with the individual and departmental critical paths, ensure that your colleagues and team members can deliver finished design-work for all ranges on time.
o Manage and mentor the performance of everyone within the team.
o Price negotiation.
o Oversee the entry and accuracy of the Design Master Line sheets.
o Production Pattern management.
o Bulk fabric imports planning for new seasons.
o Liaison with suppliers on fabrics, sample and bulk orders including negotiation of prices and deliveries.
o Produce, plan, and execute production of seasonal collections and recuts.
o Deal effectively with manufacturing partners to ensure quality and lead time KPI’s are met.
o Identification, sourcing, and management of new and existing suppliers.
o Gaining an understanding of all manufactures’ capacity and capabilities to
allocate work to the most suitable manufacturer.
o Authorize and send all supplier purchase orders, ensuring all information is correct & accurate.
o Raise and create production packs (fabric and trims).
o Order greige for bulk, trims, accessories, linings.
o Ensure PP approvals are completed in a timely manner to avoid bulk delivery delays.
o Ability to forward plan to avoid delays.
o Ability to problem solve independently.
o Consolidation of orders to avoid unnecessary additional costs.
o Cost management.
