As the Merchandise Planner, you will sit at the intersection of product, trading and inventory — partnering closely with Buying to turn data, trends and financial targets into commercially strong inventory and assortment plans.
This role will play a key part in driving sales, margin and stock productivity across the business, ensuring collections are strategically planned, commercially balanced and aligned to customer demand. If you love data, thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy influencing trading decisions through insight-led thinking, this could be your next move.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute merch plans aligned to sales targets
Build sales, stock and margin plans to drive business growth
Forecast inventory needs through analysis of sales performance, customer feedback, demand and market insights.
Build commercially balanced assortments
Monitor and optimise stock levels across retail and ecommerce channels
Drive stock flow, replenishment and allocation strategies to maximise sell-through and minimise risk
Support seasonal drops, promotions and key trading moments through effective planning
Analyse trading performance across sales, margin, stock turn and sell-through to drive informed decisions
Deliver recommendations across reorders, markdowns, stock transfers and inventory exit strategies
Collaborate cross-functionally with Buying, Design, Production and Ecommerce teams to support commercial outcomes
