A solid foundation in design and buying, with several years spent immersed in the activewear space; where performance, fit, and function are non-negotiable
Experience contributing to commercially successful ranges within a fashion or retail environment, with an understanding of what resonates both locally and globally
A strong point of view on product, backed by a sharp eye for detail and a genuine passion for activewear and evolving style movements
A deep understanding of trend; both emerging and established; and the ability to translate that into product that feels relevant and wearable
Confidence working across the Adobe Creative Suite, with advanced skills in digital design, technical sketching
A technical mindset when it comes to activewear; fabrics, construction, and performance

THE ROLE
The Product Manager (Designer/Buyer) plays a key role in bringing performance-driven, style-led product to life, blending innovation, function, and trend to meet the needs of a modern, movement-focused activewear customer.
Working alongside the Head of Product, this role helps shape the direction of the activewear range, translating market insight and brand vision into collections that feel relevant, elevated, and commercially strong.
This role is based in Sydney and we're actively seeking exceptional talent, interstate or international. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Creation
Tuning into global and local activewear trends; tracking shifts in fabric technology, performance features, and evolving silhouettes
Keeping a sharp eye on the competitive landscape to understand where the brand can lead, not follow
Taking ownership of the product journey from first idea to finished piece; concepting, designing, refining fits, and resolving technical details
Building ranges that balance performance and style, ensuring each piece works as part of a cohesive, on-brand story
Contributing to seasonal narratives, mood directions, and trend concepts that inspire each collection
Working closely with production partners to bring designs to life, managing fittings, iterations, and final approvals with a focus on quality and function
Category Performance & Growth
Staying close to the numbers; reading sales data to understand what’s moving, what’s not, and why
Shaping category direction in collaboration with planning, ensuring the range meets both customer demand and commercial goals
Positioning product effectively in the market through considered pricing and clear benchmarking
Spotting opportunities early by connecting trend movement with real-time performance insights
