Working closely with the Lead Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing new collections to life, translating creative concepts into beautifully crafted bridal gowns. From first patterns and toiles through to fittings and final garment execution, you'll combine exceptional technical expertise with meticulous craftsmanship to create gowns of the highest standard.
This is a hands-on role based at the brand's HQ, suited to someone who thrives in a collaborative design environment and takes genuine pride in precision, fit and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the Lead Designer to develop new bridal collections from concept through to finished sample.
Create first patterns, toiles and production-ready patterns from sketches and design briefs.
Refine patterns through fittings, alterations and fit corrections across multiple sizes.
Construct high-quality bridal samples with exceptional attention to detail and finish.
Develop internal garment structures including corsetry, boning, draping and support systems.
Work across luxury bridal fabrics including lace, Mikado, satin, tulle, organza and other structured textiles.
Maintain accurate pattern documentation, technical notes and garment specifications.
Troubleshoot construction challenges and contribute ideas to continually improve fit and garment quality.
Collaborate closely with the wider design team to ensure every sample reflects the brand's premium standards.
