5+ years’ merchandise planning experience in fashion is essential
DTC experience across both ecommerce and retail
Advanced Excel and planning system expertise with strong analytical skills
Commercially minded with a clear understanding of customer and trend drivers
Strong communicator with effective stakeholder management capabilities
Able to spot risks and opportunities in a fast-paced environment

THE ROLE
Our luxury client is seeking a commercially minded, data-driven Senior Merchandise Planner to play a key role in shaping the future growth of the brand. Reporting to the Head of Merchandise, you will drive sales and profitability across all channels through strategic planning, forecasting, and inventory optimisation. You will help deliver a product offering that balances brand desirability with strong commercial performance, using insight-led analysis to influence product strategy and support long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, seasonal and annual reports to provide insights and recommendations.
Prepare pre market analysis to properly project seasonal buys.
Post-seasonal review and performance analysis.
Regular promotional and pricing analysis.
Build and maintain accurate replenishment models to ensure optimal inventory in core styles.
Ensure replenishment orders are placed.
Responsible for Best Sellers reporting to design team, based on the launch cadence.
Continuous analysis and recommendations to achieve business goals.
Ad hoc reports as required to achieve business goals.
Generate and execute allocation plans that help drive sales and maintain optimal stock levels across all channels (store + online).
Identify unique allocation requirements and trends by location - manage and maintain store and channel profiles.
Ensure all product is allocated in a timely manner with appropriate stock levels and size runs by location.
Range Architecture build, requirements and exploring potential new markets and tailored assortments
OTB planning to product category level
Report on and action changes to product to meet sell through expectations.
Recommend promotions and reorders to achieve and exceed targets.
Provides forecasting at critical stages for fabric & trim planning and commitments identifying product lifecycle opportunities
Packaging forecasts and ordering for the warehouse.
Assortment planning
Champion of CENTRIC, JOOR, TRS, Skypad and AP21 data validation
Tracking all products to ensure all units are correctly communicated/relayed from the sales/online teams to production in line with the critical path
