Fashion wholesale sales experience minimum 7 years or plus +
Must have the experience managing DJ, Myer and the Iconic and expert at working with their buyers
Relationships and additional contacts with other majors and retailers are a bonus
Experience in selling swimwear is a desired particularly with knowledge and buyer contacts with swim retailers
High level of communication skills, both oral and written, including report writing
A strong proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel
Demonstrates strong organisational and administrative skills
Motivated, enthusiastic, and disciplined
Ability to work within a team to create a fun, positive culture
Can travel to see buyers and customers both locally in NSW and inter-state (must have a car and a valid driver’s license)

THE ROLE
The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the sales team and developing sales strategies to drive growth and profitability for the wholesale division of the company. This individual will work closely with key accounts and our Agents / Distributor partners to maintain strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Develop and execute seasonal sales and brand strategies to drive wholesale growth, market share, brand visibility, and sell-through.
Own end-to-end indent sales management across brands and territories, including target setting, forecasting, reporting, and order placement.
Manage overall sales performance by brand, analysing results against last year, previous indents, and budget.
Oversee major account buys, ensuring optimal range mix, quantities, pricing, and merchandising aligned to budgets and historical performance.
Work closely with Brand Managers, showrooms, agents, and the Sales Team to grow existing accounts and secure new business.
Plan and execute marketing and selling tools for each sell, including photoshoot samples, SMS management, and agent allocations.
Drive sales performance through targeted marketing plans focused on key styles and categories.
Monitor and reduce cancellations, ensuring all orders are confirmed ahead of production deadlines.
Track invoiced sales against monthly budgets, manage open orders, and follow up on outstanding and cancelled orders.
Maintain accurate stock lists and reports, ensuring all available stock is invoiced and shipped.
Manage stock levels under a make-to-order model, preventing aged stock beyond 120 days and coordinating clearance strategies when required.
Lead sell-through analysis, producing clear visual reports highlighting best and worst performers for internal teams and key customers.
Communicate weekly sell-through performance (% and units) to drive incremental sales opportunities.
Conduct end-of-range reviews, presenting category analysis, sales graphs, best sellers, cancellations, and major account performance.
Undertake ongoing market research to inform range, pricing, and sales strategies.
Manage and maintain JOOR, ensuring accurate product, pricing, and order information.
Partner with Marketing on major account activations including window displays, staff incentives, product launches, and advertising.
Collaborate with Production and Design on pricing, margin management, fit issues, and delivery timelines.
Provide sales-driven feedback to Design on shapes, fabrics, fits, and range direction.
Support the Global Sales Manager with international sales activity as required.
