Hold a CA, CPA or equivalent qualification, with demonstrated experience leading high-performing finance functions.
Have worked within a product-led, retail, consumer goods or similar commercial environment where inventory and operational finance are central to success.
Bring strong commercial acumen and can confidently translate financial insights into practical business decisions.
Have proven experience across budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting and business planning.
Are comfortable navigating the complexity of multi-entity operations, international markets and multiple revenue streams.
Thrive in fast-paced, evolving businesses where you're happy to be both strategic and hands-on.
Build trusted relationships across the business and communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
Naturally take ownership, solve problems proactively and bring a calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure.

THE ROLE
This is a commercially focused finance leadership role where you'll play a key part in shaping both the day-to-day performance and long-term direction of the business. Sitting within the leadership team, you'll be the go-to for financial strategy, operational performance and commercial decision making, ensuring the business has the insights, systems and structure to continue growing successfully.
You'll suit this role if you're equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to solve immediate challenges as you are influencing broader business strategy. It's a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys building capability, improving ways of working and partnering with stakeholders across the organisation
Key responsibilities
Providing strategic financial leadership across the business, ensuring strong governance and commercial outcomes.
Preparing meaningful financial reports and performance insights that support confident decision making across the leadership team.
Developing budgets, financial plans and forward-looking forecasts that align with business objectives.
Monitoring business performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending actions to improve profitability and efficiency.
Ensuring the finance function operates effectively across all areas, from financial reporting and compliance through to day-to-day accounting activities.
Leading financial planning around cash management and ensuring the business maintains a healthy financial position.
Delivering commercial analysis to support pricing, purchasing, operational investment and wider business initiatives.
Partnering with leaders across multiple departments to provide financial guidance and improve commercial outcomes.
Overseeing stock-related financial reporting and analysing product performance to support informed business decisions.
Reviewing business performance across a range of revenue streams, highlighting trends and opportunities for improvement.
Managing relationships with external advisors, financial institutions and regulatory bodies where required.
Identifying opportunities to improve systems, reporting capability and internal processes, helping the finance function become more efficient and scalable.
Leading and developing the finance team, fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Taking ownership of key financial projects, ensuring priorities are delivered accurately and on time.
Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing clear, practical recommendations that support sustainable business growth.
