Operate at a Head of Retail or senior multi-site leadership level within fashion or premium retail

THE ROLE
We’re partnering with a highly regarded, Australian-born fashion brand that’s making waves locally and internationally. Known for its effortlessly wearable collections and elevated approach to retail, the brand is now looking for a commercially sharp and inspiring Head of Retail to lead its national store network.
This is a senior leadership role, sitting within the broader leadership team, with full ownership of retail performance, strategy, and execution. You’ll be responsible for shaping the future of the retail channel, driving profitability, elevating customer experience, and building a high-performing national leadership structure.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and lead the national retail strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and long-term growth plans
Full accountability for retail P&L performance, budgets, and commercial outcomes across the store network
Lead, coach, and develop a national team of Store Managers and retail leaders, building capability and strong succession pipelines
Drive a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, consistency, and continuous development
Champion an elevated and consistent customer experience across all stores, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the brand at its best
Drive customer loyalty, repeat visitation, and brand advocacy through exceptional in-store execution
Oversee all retail operations including compliance, wage management, stock integrity, and operational excellence
Ensure consistency across visual merchandising, store standards, and in-store execution
Lead end-to-end retail network planning including new store openings, refurbishments, and optimisation of existing locations
Oversee execution of store openings and refurbishments, ensuring brand alignment, operational readiness, and seamless delivery
Own retail budgets and financial performance, monitoring sales, wages, and expenses to maximise productivity and profitability
Analyse performance data and trading insights to identify risks, opportunities, and growth levers across the network
Partner closely with eCommerce, marketing, product, and operations teams to deliver a seamless omnichannel customer experience
Contribute to broader business strategy as part of the leadership team, influencing key commercial and brand decisions
