THE ROLE

As a Product Developer your role is to execute and specify designs into accurate sample products for each seasonal collection.

Working closely with the creative director, design team and vendors to translate designs into physical garments that are aligned with the brand aesthetic and market positioning. Collaborating closely with the production team to ensure changes and execution of designs at bulk production stage are carried out correctly and feasibly.

 

• Producing technical drawings and spec sheets
• Developing and sourcing fabrics / trims and hardware in accordance with seasonal design objectives
• Information updates for sample tracker and progression of styles in line with critical path
• Liaising with vendors to ensure correct execution of design specifications in line with critical path requirements
• Communication of fit changes and adjustments at sample development stage
• Handover of collection to production team covering off changes to fabrication, accessories, trims & costings
• Liaising with the production team to complete garments in line with critical path milestones
• Identifying opportunities to improve aspects of the design room practices and processes
