THE ROLE

In this senior role, you will own - Client strategy and planning, campaign delivery, staff management and mentoring, client profitability and new business pitching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead discussions with clients to understand and draft PR briefs, utilise expertise and market insights to shape briefs for success

  • Develop communication strategies and activations for clients

  • Implement Communications plans including media outreach, VIP and influencer, activations, sponsorships, events, social media and other activities as required

  • Research and draft media releases and write a wide range of media materials

  • Develop media strategy and news angles and pitch to relevant media

  • Form and maintain strong relationships with media network, VIPs and talent agencies, with a focus at a senior level

  • Develop and implement client event concepts – including client liaison, facilitating partnerships, creative concepts, event execution, debriefing and event evaluation

  • Sourcing, negotiating and leveraging client sponsorships as part of the PR mix

  • Ensure client media coverage KPIs are met and proactively manage client expectations around these

  • Forster an environment of collaboration and belonging by defining success in terms of the whole team; fostering open dialogue and sharing wins and successes

  • Developing and presenting budget scope of works to clients and internal team; accurately mapping anticipated resources and services

  • Assist to prioritise best use of any available / extra time each month for yourself and for the people in your team

  • Assist with tracking monthly retainer budgets to prevent over and under servicing

  • Draft new business proposals, project manage research, case study preparation, and document production as required

  • Maintain and grow a network of relevant and related industry contacts; with a focus on beauty and lifestyle

  • Attend industry and client relevant events
