Have technical design experience with premium or luxury brands
Bring tailoring and draping experience
Advanced Adobe Suite skillset
Strong quality & technical background and sound understanding of garment construction and grading
Strong fitting and problem-solving skills
3 years minimum experience in a technical role is essential
Are available to work on-site in a full time capacity
Pattern maker knowledge is essential to the success of your application

THE ROLE
The primary function of this role is to support the Head Designer to manage and to oversee all aspects of technical design to ensure accuracy of product measurements, quality, construction, and fit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of technical design for every collection , including the creation of Tech Pack for every style, develop a fit comment document for all garment components, including fit, fabric, construction, stitch, and trims.
• Working closely with the Design & Production team to transition from initial concepts through to final sample
• Measure garments accurately to identify any fit issues and execute fit comments
• Creating Garment spec sheets & applying the grading rules
• Measuring garments & commenting on manufacturing finishes for all sampling
• Solving construction problems throughout the sample stage
• Liaising daily with suppliers, in regards to re -fits, fabrics, finishes & grading
• Conducting QC of PP samples and Bulk TOP samples.
• Develop professional relationships with other team members and external vendor to ensure optimal communication, efficiency and productivity , as well as positive results in the overall development and the SMS and fit approval phase
• Communicate and collaborate with the Design Lead, Product Development Manager, & Production
