THE ROLE

The Social Media & Content Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of the brands organic social media channels and content calendar. Working closely with the Brand Director, eCommerce Manager, creative team and CEO, this person will help translate the brand identity into compelling daily content that builds awareness, engagement, community and ultimately customer demand.

The role spans social media management, content creation, copywriting, community management, influencer content, campaign support and performance reporting.

  • Own the day-to-day management of brands organic social channels.

  • Develop and maintain a clear weekly and monthly social content calendar.

  • Ensure content is consistently published at the appropriate frequency and standard, and maintain a strong understanding of platform trends, formats, algorithms and emerging behaviours.

  • Create high-quality social-first content for brand on an ongoing basis.

  • Shoot and edit content using both professional assets and mobile-first formats, and be comfortable creating compelling content quickly without requiring a full-scale campaign shoot for every execution.

  • Help communicate the brand point of view consistently across every social touchpoint, bringing to life the key elements of the brand.

  • Ensure content feels elevated and fashion-led while retaining warmth, energy and accessibility, balancing aspirational campaign imagery with more spontaneous, authentic and social-first content.

  • Write engaging, brand-appropriate copy across social media and digital content.

  • Manage and grow the brands online community. Monitor comments, tags, mentions and direct messages, respond appropriately and ensure customer questions are directed to the relevant teams.

  • Work with the Brand Director and PR partners to support influencer and creator activity.

  • Maintain a clear and organised content library.

  • Ensure all campaign, product, influencer and social assets are correctly stored, labelled and easily accessible, and maintain visibility over what assets exist while identifying content gaps ahead of launches.

  • Go beyond reporting the numbers; identify why certain content performs and use those learnings to continuously improve future content.

  • Work with the eCommerce Manager to understand which social content is contributing to traffic, customer acquisition and sales.
